Hermance Associates founder, Travis Hermance, has over 20 years experience in evaluating and treating individuals with mental health and substance use issues. He has extensive experience working as an emergency clinician and collaborating with police departments, law firms, universities, hospitals, and private companies about comprehensive ways to appropriately and effectively handle a behavioral health concern before the situation escalates into an emergency. 

Embedded in his 20 years as a licensed clinician, Travis has experience in evaluating and treating clients in the fields of crisis intervention, mental health, substance use, trauma, sexual assault and domestic violence. In addition, he provides comprehensive suicide and homicide risk assessments, safety planning, stress debriefing and substance use evaluations.

Travis received his undergraduate degree in Psychology from Roger Williams University and his master's degree in social work from Simmons College. He is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in Rhode Island and Massachusetts.
